At San Pedro de Majagua Hotel, we are committed to your total satisfaction and safety , therefore we invite you to take into account the following recommendations when traveling to the Island:

• It is only possible to reach the Hotel by sea on board a boat, private yacht or through shared boat transportation offered by the Hotel at the established time for both departure and return from the Island, only departure time from Cartagena city is  at 08:30 a.m. from LA BODEGUITA port.

• The boat service transportation by the Hotel or similar allied boats has an extra cost. It is not included in the published accommodation rates.

Once the room reservation is made, your seats on the boat will be automatically confirmed. Additional port taxes must be paid taxes abour port COP $ 26.000 per person aprox (departure, Park and boat insurance) applicable per adult and child charged to your room account or pre-paid.

• Our boats set sail on a direct trip to San Pedro de Majagua Hotel, from the LA BODEGUITA port, located in the old city  of Cartagena de Indias.

• Transportation from the Hotel or similar allied boats is offered with a single daily departure at 8:30 a.m.

Meeting point  is at 8:00 a.m. at LA BODEGUITA port, gate # 3 and a daily return between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. depending on sea or weather conditions. The travel time is approximately 60 minutes.

• Restrictions: for security reasons, the transfer by boat to pregnant women, people under the influence of alcohol, pets or smoking are not allowed on the boat.

• Luggage: Into the boat is allowed the storage of one (1) suitcase per person up to 25 kg of weight and its dimensions has not exceeded 60 cm long x 30 cm wide x 30 cm high. On your laps you could carry a small handbag, a purse or a small briefcase.

• In some periods of the year there are strong winds with high waves, for your safety and peace of mind, on some occasions we will be forced to leave from the Island to Cartagena, before the regular time. This change will be notified directly on the Island by the manager on duty.

• There are private boats that you can rent to get to San Pedro de Majagua Hotel, arrange this services through our Commercial and Sales department. These services have an extra cost and may change depending on the type of boat, capacity or size.

• In the event that for climatic reasons the Port Authority does not authorize the departure of the boat from the Hotel, the guest will have the decision to postpone his departure or boarding for another day with prior authorization of availability from the Hotel or cancel the reserved transport quota. Processing for this the return in writing before the reservations department of the Hotel.

The return time will be subject to the time terms that apply for each case according to the bank, which varies between approximately 20 to 30 business days. The Hotel will not make refunds due to rain or bad weather when the Port Authority has authorized the departure of the boat.

• In case of rain or waves, a crew assistant will give you raincoats during the tour.
