In the year 1955, French painter PIERRE DAGUET, after going around the
Rosario Islands, built his house and studio on the lot where the
San Pedro de Majagua Hotel is today. Thanks to the restoration work of the
important construction firm Arias Serna & Saravia, who respecting the
environment of the island and maintaining a tropical but comfortable concept, built this
magnificent place, naming it after San Pedro in honor of its famous and ancient inhabitant;
and Majagua because it is one of the most representative shrubby trees found in the zone.
Our hotel is a destination where ecotourism, privacy, diving and the magic color of the ocean
allow the development of vacational and corporate activities with all the comfort and endorsement of our brand.
The Archipelago of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, where the San Pedro de Majagua Hotel
is located, lies 45 kilometers southwest of the city of Cartagena de Indias, in the Northern
Colombian coast. These islands are really an archipelago formed by coral reefs where the magic
of its crystal-clear waters and small white sand beaches are the best accomplices so that your
resting activities or corporative one-day plans for groups or company groups can develop their
outdoor activities or team building activities and you may live the unforgettable experience of San Pedro
de Majagua.
