In 1955, the French painter PIERRE DAGUET, on a tour of the Islas del Rosario, set his home and studio on the ground where is today the San Pedro de Majagua Hotel. Thanks to expansive restoration by the construction firm Arias Serna & Saravia, respecting the environment and keeping the island's tropicality and comfort developed this magical place, naming it San Pedro in honor of its famous and ancient inhabitant, and Majagua in honor of one of the most representative trees in the area. Our Hotel has become a destination where ecotourism, privacy, diving and magical color of the sea allow the development of leisure and corporate activities with all the comfort and support that make our brand.
Archipelago Nuestra Señora del Rosario, where is located the Hotel San Pedro de Majagua, is situated 45 kilometers southwest of the city of Cartagena de Indias, on Colombia's northern coast. These islands are actually an archipelago of coral reefs where the magic of crystal-clear water and small beaches of fine white sand is the best accessory for relaxation, corporate or incentive activities. Picnic groups or business groups wishing to enjoy outdoor activities or team building outings will find San Pedro de Majagua to be an unforgettable experience.
